![]() ![]() ![]() I called Autolab the next day and spoke to the “manager”, Will, who assured me that “the most important thing is to get you back in your car as soon as possible.” Hoods should always be closed with force in order to assure they latch properly-and they should be double checked so that they don’t fly up and smash the windshield. This means that whoever opened my hood to jump my battery didn’t even close the hood with enough force to engage the first stage of the two-stage latch. I left Autolab and ¼ mile away as I was entering the onramp to highway 196, my hood flew up and smashed my windshield. Apparently my Prius’ 12v battery died on the alignment rack so they jumped and charged my battery. On JanuI visited Autolab in Jenison, Michigan for an alignment because of the great reviews I read online. Lesson #2: After having service done on your car, ALWAYS check your hood to make sure it’s latched. Lesson #1: Stay away from Autolab in Jenison ![]()
